2011: what are you looking forward to?
not necessarily resolutions, but what's going on in 2011 or what are you hoping will happen, etc?

2 things jump out at me:
hopefully by the end of the year we will have a definate plan for TTC #2
A couple of close friends are getting married and I am so excited to go to weddings again.

my read shelf:
1) Finish finishing our basement.
2) Being a BM in a good friend's wedding (she was my BM).
3) Hosting Christmas Day (or any holiday!) for the first time.
4) Maybe, maybe, maybe starting to TTC at the very end of 2011.
5) If not TTC in 2011, then a vacation!

my read shelf:
1. We are either trading in our Pacifica for a ::GASP!:: mini-van (Sienna) or putting a deck on our house this year with our bonuses that we get in March.
2. We hope to paint more rooms in our house. (We're buying the paint for the kitchen probably this weekend!)
3. TTC #2 in August!!
4. Mariela's 1st birthday in March
Going on my 1st vacation with the baby.

Trip to Hawaii in April. We're going to the Big Island.

We will be seeing the RE a week from today to get our plan for TTC (again).
2011 is the year of weddings. I have 5 friends and/or family members getting married. Two are in September. One is in November in Mexico (DH's cousin that we *hope* to go depending on if I am PG or not by then).
We would like to be in a house but if not, definitely closer to 20% DP (here in CA, it is no easy feat!)
Definitely keep putting $$ away in our e-fund. That is one thing that saved our a$$es many times in 2010.
C turns 1 in March... cant wait for his party!!
My dad's 60th bday in May...
DH's cousin's wedding in June...
San Diego with JUST me and DH in July....
Chicago/Indiana with C and DH late July to visit my brother/SIL and attend my BFFs wedding...

Enjoying and savoring EVERY.Single.MOMENT with my husband, son and our families!!!!

Have 3 weddings lined up for next year! (and i'm in one and DH is in another)
Finding a good job that I will enjoy going to everyday (and praying that the separation from my daughter won't be too hard on both of us

Possibly going on vacation for the first time as a family of 3!
Celebrating Gianna's Baptism sometime in April and also her 1st Birthday in August! Wow!!
I think i just overall want to enjoy 2011 to the fullest with my family. We went through some aweful times with the loss of some very close family members in 2009 and 2010 and i just hope that 2011 will only bring happy times for us all. Gianna truly brought a big ray of sunshine into all our lives after being stuck under a dark rainy cloud. She is my angel sent from up above. I love her sooo much and i'm so thankful to have her!!

A new cousin for P. The conclusion of this cycle of my job search (and figuring out what I want to do about going back to work FT). Starting my quilting business - I already have two clients lined up. Possibly starting TTC #2 at the end of the year. B coming within one semester of finishing grad school.
