Hey ladies! Sorry it's taken me so long to post my "Show us your digs!" pictures. I've tried posting them twice since I got home from work & my computer keeps overheating. Piece of crappp! Anyway, thank you for voting for me! I hope you enjoy the pictures of our teeny tiny apartment!

I love our kitchen table. It was the first thing my parents bought together when they got their first apartment in the 70s. Then it was in my sister & BIL's house when they got married, and now it's been passed on to me. 
Exhibit A: We have FAR too little in the way of storage space! We've had to get really creative as far as fitting all our stuff in closets.
My couch! I freaking love my gold couch. It was also my parents', but they replaced it a year ago. I was so psyched to have it. And a friend of DH's family made us this afghan for our wedding. The colors don't match ANYTHING else we own, but it's so warm!
DH's "entertainment wall." He'd probably sit & play Call of Duty 16 hours a day here if he could. But I'd rather watch "Celebrity Rehab!"
If you ever find yourself married to a biology professor, think twice before telling him, "You can choose whatever shower curtain you want."
DH is super OCD (literally), but especially about our bathroom counter. My stuff lives on the left & his is on the right. The only exception is his toothbrush. It lives in the cup on my side.
The comfiest, snuggliest bed on the planet. DH's friend gave him a "Perry the Platypus" pillow for Christmas. Sweet.

My husband can't sleep without this freaking fan on. It can be 20 degrees outside * he turns on the "Wind Machine."
I got this mirror 75% off from HomeGoods. It weighs a million pounds but it was one of the best apartment purchases I've made so far.
I have a confession: I'm a makeup fiend. I'm obsessed. Don't let me go to MAC or Sephora. I'll get myself in trouble!

Both of our childhood teddybears live in the closet shelf. Happy (right) is mine, and Ted (left) is his. Cute.

I think it's so interesting to see other people's homes, and also interesting to see what people think "define" their homes, the parts they want most to share.

Our bears live together, too - on the couch! I have Teddy (little guy), Zach has Bear (looks like he's waving at everyone). We don't have any storage space, either, so don't feel bad about that! Very cute photos, love it!
I *love* the frog shower curtain - but I'm a total bio geek going back to middle school when I would play with frogs, geckos, and snakes!

i have the same problem -- its hard to sleep in the silence. i think this was due to growing up in the woods with lots of sounds.
anyway, i have a sleepsound that obviates the need for the fan. its smaller, and its not freezing.
