Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Re: 2010 Highs and Lows
Highs: Getting married, buying our first house, getting a kickass new job
Lows: Working for a crappy company for too long, dealing with buying a short sale, dealing with the tornado 2 days before the wedding (sweet that they all worked out in the end!)
highs: getting married! i'm so glad it's over :P we got a great apartment, in a great location. i got smidge of a raise. The holidays were awesome too- it was a nice cap to the year.
lows: #1 worst moment: putting my dog down. i'm still heart broken everyday. also working my ass off and not being able to spend tons of time with my friends and family.
overall 2010 was good to me.

Highs: Getting married! Going on the honeymoon. Finishing my first year of teaching successfully.
Lows: J's mom breaking her leg and the ensuing surgery, rehab, and moving his dad (and her eventually) to assisted living. Seeing J's dad struggle with Parkinson's. The stress I experienced during my first year of teaching.
I'm ready for 2011!
Highs: Getting married, and getting a different job. Then getting promoted.
Lows: Having my poor dog's eye removed. It was so sad to see him hurting.

Highs: Getting married and getting a new job
Lows: Family illness. My grandma and my aunt are both really sick and it's been hard to deal.
Highs: Getting married and getting a non subbing job in a wonderful school district!
Lows: Health scare, I have a mass in my wrist but it turned out to be nothing to be worried about. Its very painful and I have been dealing with it since before the wedding, but it will be getting removed in February!
highs: getting married, re-doing our bathroom
lows: H's grandfather passing away early in the year (right after his grandmother did).
High: getting married
Low: being in a low paying job, living so far away from family and friends
Highs: getting married, our honeymoon
Lows: the closing of the school I worked at for the first 5 years of my career, starting at a new school that I don't care much for
Highs- Getting married, Honeymoon, getting a new car.
Lows- H's grandpa died 3 weeks before the wedding, and all the stress I have had at work.

Lows: Being sick and not knowing whats wrong
