Hi there!
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Amanda. My husband, Brian and I are expecting our first in June. I live in South Portland and will be spending a bunch of time in Raymond this summer hopefully. The pregnancy hasn't been that easy. I have been so sick. I am hoping to start enjoying this pregnancy really soon. I have wanted to be a mom for so long so it is heart breaking that I haven't been able to really have fun with it yet. 2010 was a bit of a rough year, two major foot surgries followed by the "morning" sickness but I hold out major hope for 2011. This is going to be a great year!

Hi and welcome to the board!! Congratulations on your baby - June will be such a pretty time of year to have a newborn and take walks
). As for the "morning" (all day/night!!) sickness, you're in good company here! Lots of us have gone through it, and I had it pretty bad w/ my first until 16 weeks (threw up 3-5x/day). I thought that was bad, and then I got pg again this time and thew up anywhere from 5-15x/day, and finally had to take Zofran because I was throwing out my back and couldn't walk as a result of getting sick. Ugggghhh pregnancy is not for the weak, that's for sure!!
Anyway, I'm so sorry you're feeling sick, and I'm sure you'll feel better soon. Hang in there, and in the meantime we're here to listen if you need to complain

I hope for your sake that you can start feeling good, but if not I promise it wont matter. I felt horrible and was in and out of the hospital the entire time, and heck the first few weeks afterward! Now, I do wish I had those sweet little pregnant moments, but it doesn't matter when you see that sweet little smile in the crib.
Everything is fair game topic wise here and there is no such things as being an attention whore, if you've got great news, we love hearing it!
Hi I am Kristin, DH is Josh, we have twin boys Jack and Keaghan. We live in Springvale, but spend summers in Raymond! DH is a camp director so the boys and I live at camp in the summer.

Hi!!! We have lots of new gals on here! Yay for more Maine Nesties!!! I'm Jess, my fam and I live in Cape. I currently am home with my 13 month old and hope 2011 brings a new, and exciting job!
