What anti-virus program do you recommend for new laptop?
I've used Norton and McAfee, but I feel like they download a lot of "junk" that just hogs up my computer's memory.
I just got a new laptop, and am looking for a solid anti-virus. I do all the bills, online shopping, and email/facebook on this laptop, so I do want to get something solid (since my Gmail was already hacked earlier this year on my old laptop).
Any suggestions would be great. I've also heard of Avast, but not sure if it's a solid program?

Avast or AVG, along with Spyware Sweeper, Adaware, and/or Malwarebytes.
ETA: Also Spybot Search & Destroy.
Microsoft Security Essentials

It is really lightweight!
On my PC's I use Avast! and I really like it. Here's a link:

I chose the paid version though.
AVG, Malwarebytes. - free downloads
Is what I have on ours and it seems to work well!
