Anyways.... moving on...
So since the wedding is over, I'm finding myself looking for different projects to do because I'm quite bored! haha Since we bought our first house, a fixer upper, I am becomming quite the Bob Villa, if I do say so myself!
Bryan is not what I could call a handy man, and he cringes at any decoration question, etc. So, I'm having fun doing projects one my own. My latest project is the ktichen backsplash. Yesterday I tiled it all on my own using glass tile. Today I'm grouting it. I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing but I havent screwed anything up yet! haha
So, now since the wedding is over, what are your projects? Home Improvement? Baby Making? Career?

I am so bored and I find myself not knowing what to do with all this planning energy lol. 2 couples we know (one of them being my little brother) got engaged on Christmas and they both want me to help them. Which thrills me because I can get that DIY fix again. Also one of my BF is pregnant and her mother and I are planning a baby shower for her. We should find out what she is having and get things started this month... Can't wait!!

My BFF/MOH got engaged on Christmas and she is like taking her time doing things and I'm like nooo no no no lets get going, I'm already looking at BM dresses for myself and I gave her all my magazines, I'm trying to get her going so I can have some more wedding stuff to do!
We just did the backsplash in our kitchen last week, it was SO easy, I had no idea what I was doing either. I've seen it done a million times on HGTV and the like, but Jeremy was SO impressed, I was just like 'whatever, it's not that hard.' I redid the curtains in the kitchen too, it's like a completely new kitchen! Here is a pic of the stove backsplash, colors aren't the best, but the tile has glittery coppery streaks all over
I have an office to start getting organized, it used to be my wedding room. I got a desk at the ReStore, but it's been so cold or I've had stuff to do or sick that I haven't even got the whole thing base coated yet. I did get my office painted. I've got a chandelier to redo and get hung in my office too. I love home renovation! My next big project will be tiling our master bath. I'd do it right now, but glass tile is SO expensive when you need a lot of it.
I wish we had a house we could do things too but alas, we are not allowed in our apartment.
I've been getting into photography lately so that's taking up a lot of my time.
Well, I want to work on more house projects. But the main thing is that I'm going back to school! I'll continue working full time, and i'm going to work on my Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications. I'm scared out of my mind and even questioning if it's what I really want... but that might be the incoming debt talking :-. I hope so anyway!
So mostly that, and some house projects as we can. I want to retile our tub surround, and we desperately need a new fence. But we'll see with my loans and DHs loans! Eeek...
