T & Ps please.

So, I am going to C & P something from another board I belong to. A friend of mine's good friend needs lots of T&Ps. I just feel awful for her & her family.

Tiff has been having aweful migranes and vomiting for quite a while but within the past week or two, she's gotten pretty bad.  She also stopped emailing, texting, fb-ing (and I've noticed FNing as well).  Her husband noticed this, especially after she would just lay in bed or on the couch, not move, get sick, etc and called her doctor.  They went in, and the doctor admitted her to the hospital in the psych ward.  They thought that this had to do with her not keeping down her antidepressants and it really just set something off in her brain.  They evaluated her, and moved her our of the ward the next day.  She wasn't really "there," she thought George W was still president and that the date was Sept 2x (the date always changed, but it was always 20-something).  Our friend had gone and seen her and said that all she could do was a thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no or pout when she didn't want something (like soup, water, or even her pills for migranes).

That night, she went into Cardiac Arrest and she stopped breathing on her own.  They did a scan (I don't know what kind) after they stableized her and saw that she had a 9cm mass in her brain and that she had lost some of her brain stem activity.  She was then transferred to MassGen and was sent to surgery.  At the time of the surgery, they didn't know if it was a tumor or an infection.  They did remove 20cc's of fluid (that's about 2-3oz for those who can't convert...like me).  She's in ICU, very very heavily sedated, on a breathing tube and we don't know how long she's going to be sedated for.  The last update I got was that she was being sent in for a MRI to check her head again.  And, as far as I know now, they still don't know what the mass is (they were sending the fluid for a biopsy).

The update to this is she lost her baby (she was about 22-30 weeks). But now she is responsive to pain.

She is back in surgery, so please keep her in your thoughts if you have any to spare. Thanks guys.
