DH ignored me today
DH ignored me today and I hope he learned a lesson because of it. Being from a southern family, we have a few traditions and beliefs about New Years Day. One of them is that we don't do laundry or dishes today, it is bad luck. Well, DH ignored me when I said not to do the dishes today. He insisted on doing them, and while doing them he chipped a plate and broke a wine glass. Thanks DH! Now maybe you will listen to your silly wife?

I have never heard of this before, that is so interesting! Good thing I didn't do any laundry or wash any dishes today. In fact I didn't do much of anything

Nope, I hate even the smell of them. DH made prime rib and mashed potatoes.
