"Puppies and Rainbows?"
I don't even know what the apparent argument was about that spawned the sudden overuse of this (nor do I care, so no need to fill me in), but I keep seeing this term come up.
Going on what seems to be the obvious intent, I suppose it is a general/generic term to attempt to personally insult someone for wanting life to be too nice and/or too perfect. However, I do not care for puppies OR rainbows, and feel terribly left out of the insults.
Therefore, I am going to have to mentally translate this phrase into something that will help me better relate because I don't want to run the risk of not being sufficiently hurt when someone types this on here. The Internet is serious business, afterall.
So - I've decided on "Evian and oral sex."

I do love puppies, but rainbows don't really do it for me either, so my equivalent would be puppies and ice cream :-)
