ok so Kevin's bday is coming up in Feb, and I want to suprise him with a weekend away but can't figure out where to go, I was hoping for your help lol. I don't want to do Galena or lake geneva. Do you have any suggestions??????

Hmmmm..... aren't winter birthdays the crappiest when trying to plan something to do? Drew's is in February too and I never know what to do.
What do you guys like to do? Drew likes to go to the casino, so I sent him to do that last year. I know you guys live a lot closer to downtown than we do, but when was the last time you did the typical touristy stuff? I'm going to try to talk Drew into going into the city for a night or two and do the city pass thing for our birthdays. Do you guys like doing that kind of thing?

TTC since 1/2010 - Dx with Stage IV Endo
11/10 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.
Beta 6/3 - 15.8; Beta 6/7 - 21.8; Beta 6/10 - 7
FET - Transferred 1 AA blast 7/11. Beta 7/20 - 311! Beta 7/22 - 784!! First u/s 8/10

Which casino do you guys go to? I saw the one in your blog, and was thinking that. We are HUGE casino people. How long did it take you guys to get to the one in the blog. I'm over the Elgin/aurora/indiana ones.
I was thinking of doing downtown stuff but we do that so much. It would be nice to get a room and go to dinner etc, but I don't know lol. Maybe I should research what is going on downtown.
Dana--- if we had vacation days we could use up I would soooo visit everyone on the east coast! maybe in August/Sept!!

Oh gosh, he's drug me to so many casinos. We've been to Ho-Chunk (he really likes that one), Potawatomi, uh the one in Elgin, Jumer's. The one in my blog is Jumer's and that took us about 2 hours to get to. It's in the Rock Island area, but I don't know if that's closer for you. The casino was really nice and the rooms, as seen on my blog, were suuuuuuuper nice! Um hello, how awesome was that bathroom? Ho-Chunk is fun because it's in the Dells. House of Embers is a really, really good restaurant to have dinner at!
When is Kevin's birthday? We got an offer for a free room on certain days at Jumer's and now Drew wants to go back. Maybe we could double?
