How did all of your NYE's end up going?

My husband and the baby were in bed at 9. I tried like heck to stay up but conked out at 10:30. It didn't even feel like NYE, felt just like a regular night in with my family, and I loved it.

All our neighbors were popping fireworks. Somehow my hubby and baby slept through it. I didn't fall asleep until early morning hours.

We went out to dinner with 3 other couples and then to a jazz club. It was a great night but we drank a little too much and our ears were ringing so bad the day after. It was our last year for partying for NYE as we are going to start TTC soon. I so look forward to a quiet house get together from now on for NYE!

My H was (and still is) not feeling well so he slept on the couch and I watched Netflix. Not very exciting but at least H was off work so he could get lots of rest. I made it to midnight, though!

My H had to work, so I spent time with family. It was nice and calm, but I missed him being there.

We definitely acted like an old married couple. We watched a movie and then were in bed by 11:00. Oh well, we still had fun.

We had big plans, but we both felt a cold coming on so we decided to downsize a bit. We went to a resteraunt in the city that had a 5 course dinner that was absolutely fabulous! We finished eating at around 8:45pm and walked around the neighborhood a bit. Then we caught a cab home, changed, DH smoked a cigar, and we waited out the ball drop with some of my favorite bubbly! It was perfect for how we were feeling.

Oh and then we were both very sick the next day..boo!

We spent NYE with a couple who have a baby the exact same age as us. We ordered pizza, the babies were asleep by 10 pm (late!) and we made it to watch the ball drop. But we went straight home after that. Evan doesn't realize when Mommy wants to sleep in. Lol. Overall, it was a good, quiet night.

We actually decided to paint the living room. So we were working on that until close to midnight. We watched a little bit of the New Year's Eve specials and the ball drop on TV and then we went to bed. Pretty low-key night, but our living room looks lovely

I spent the evening at a friend's house with about a dozen or so other friends, too much food, plenty to drink, and silly party games until the wee hours. I heard later that the games went on until 5 am, but by quarter to 4 I had to call it quits and get myself home!

We were in a hotel room in Pittsburgh since my sister got us tickets to the NHL Winter Classic the next day. After a low key dinner at Primanti Brothers we went back to the hotel, watched the ball drop, and went to bed. Not the most exciting NYE ever, but I really didn't care.
