I know we complain pretty regularly about bad drivers, but I just got home from dropping Jeff off at PT and I swear, people drive me nuts. I don't have road rage, as in, I don't swear and throw things and whatnot, but sometimes I just lose all faith in humanity.
Today it was a douchewad who wanted to turn left, so he pulled into oncoming traffic and was blocking one and a half lanes in the direction I was traveling. There were only two lanes, but luckily I was able to get around him because there was a small median-type lane (not a turn lane, but one of those weird things with the yellow slashes blocking it off, because it was narrowing down from a turn lane). I'm surprised he hadn't pulled into that, as well.
I hate asshats like that - it happens all of the time on that road (especially, for some reason, at the McDonald's) because there are a lot of parking lots and entrances/exits for small businesses, so even though it's a main road, a lot of people are trying to get on and off where there aren't lights. Guess what, a-hole, if you make the choice to turn left onto a busy street rather than turning right and making a block, you aren't allowed to just pull into the street and block traffic. It especially drives me nuts when they block one lane, but not the other, and I have to make the choice whether to let them go (so that they don't continue to block traffic) or NOT let them go on principle.
Usually I don't let people in, like d-bags who try to cut up the shoulder or on-ramps on the highway, but when they are blocking other people I feel bad. I don't want to condone their craptastic behavior but I also don't want to be responsible for further road blockage.
I also think that there is a special place in hell reserved for people who cut through parking lots (especially at high speeds) and back into spaces (for no good reason).
So what else do we want to complain about today?

This area is overrun with douchewad, asshat drivers. There is a shopping center near my house that has 4 exits out of it - only one with a light - and people constantly pull like 4 wide into the medians between the two traffic directions so that no one can turn left into the shopping center and no one has any idea WTF is going on. It's so infuriating it's half the reason I'd rather eat fast food than try to go to the grocery store. Just thinking about it make my blood pressure go up.
I would also like to biitch about women who pee all over toilet seats in public restrooms and don't clean up their fvcking mess. You don't want to clean up someone else's pee off a toilet seat, so WTF makes you think that someone else wants to clean yours up?? If you'd like to hover rather than sit, that's fine. But clean up the effing mess when you're done, FFS.
Ugh, on both counts, Rachel. We have a shopping center here like that - you can either choose the exit with the TRAFFIC LIGHT, or the other one. Not only do most people choose the other, but they block the turn lane or oncoming traffic to turn left out of it. Grr.
And I don't even get how people pee on the seat. But yeah, that drives me nut. Add to that: people who don't flush, people who don't wash their hands, and people who put their used pad/tampon into the bag but leave it in the stall. To explain: we don't have trashcans in our stalls, there are signs clearly explaining that for hygienic purposes, women are asked to place used sanitary products in the bags provided and then carry them to the trashcan. Like two feet away.

Have you tried charting yet? I've been using it as BC right now, but I'm finding that I don't ovulate until way late - like day 23. It may be that it's the same for you and you're just missing your window. I know how much you want it to happen. And it will. I know it's hard, but try not to stress it. ((hugs))
Also - have you seen damnyouautocorrect.com? I think of that site every time my phone or iPad autocorrects to something off the wall. That site is hilarious!

So I know I'm 3 days late on this post, but I just have to add...Ugh - this happened to me in Oct - except the d-bag decided he was going to continue across traffic as I was crossing in front of him - and broadsided me. Poor Subie was out of commission for almost a month. To make matters worse, the asshat decided to contest his ticket - postponed the courtdate due to 'illness' and then pleaded guilty anyway - which I found out when I showed up for the hearing. Moron.
And good luck, Dats. Just relax & have fun - that methodology worked for at least one friend of mine who had trouble TTC. When they took a break from all the O-kits and prometrium and stress, it just happened. She's now almost 4 mos KU. In fact, good luck to all the Nesties who are TTC.
