Please recommend best bikini waxer!!

I am getting my first in a few weeks before we go to Key West.  I want the best best place for it.  I don't care about the $ or the location as long as they are good because I'm skeered!!!!

Re: Please recommend best bikini waxer!!

  • No recs (sorry) just take two advil a half an hour before hand! It's a piece of cake. Now, a bikini wax while pg? That's another story!!
  • ladies.

even though I love you to pieces..

I feel all weird now knowing you guys get the wax done.

    TEE HEE !!

  • Oh Erin!  I've been there too!

It's a drive, Amy, but I love my girl at Spa Mosaic in South County Commons.  Her name is Randy.  I need one too (tee hee!)  We can double date?

  • No recs, since I'm in the Worcester-area of MA, but the one time I got my legs waxed, I was 9 months pregnant. Kyle was born 2 weeks later! I didn't find it all that bad pain-wise (but, it was interesting to get certain areas w/ the complication of my belly being in the way... good thing I am still pretty flexible from being a gymnast as a kid... we were laughing up a storm as I'd be asked "can you lift your leg for me?" and a very pregnant me happily obliged). I don't think I even took any pain relievers beforehand. But, I have a pretty high pain tolerance. Just make sure you let the hair grow at least 1/4 inch before you go so the wax has something to grab onto.

  • The only person I've gone to for a bikini wax is Jeanne at European Skin Care.  She is great.  She's also the only one I trust with my brows (and dare I say it is a relaxing experience because the place smells so good and she has soothing music playing); and she gives amazing facials too!  943-7546.  She's on Atwood Ave in Cranston.
