What's up w/ babies r us wish list?

So, we're not doing a baby shower or any of that jazz, so I won't be registering really.

Is a wish list a similar idea to registry? What's the deal...do we know?

I was hoping to have a place to book mark things I like to share w/ my mother, sister, and MIL so when I need them to go buy things, they buy the things H and I want for the nursery, etc.

Just curious...

  • Pretty much the same thing as a registry, but you really aren't registering for a specific event usually.  I know Amazon does this too.

  • i think it's a great tool for you to use for your own benefit and to share w/ close family/friends. my sis made a wish list on toys r us for my nephew for christmas. i don't think any of us actually purchased from there, but it was nice to have ideas/guidelines to go by.
