Friggin cold and milk production

I pump every morning and I usually get about 3-4 oz from one breast. Yesterday and today I've pumped hardly an ounce. I feel so bad for Abe. He probably wonders where the hell all the milk went!

Re: Friggin cold and milk production

  • I bet he's probably getting enough from nursing, maybe the tap is just a little slower :)  Drink, drink, drink and rest, rest, rest, and feel better soon!

  • I agree with megan he is most likely getting plenty from nursing.  I just had a stomach flu and I think my milk took a hit but it seems to be back to normal.  What really sucked was still having to nurse Liam in between barfing since he doesn't take a bottle.  Try to drink as much as you can!!  I hope you feel better soon!

  • water water water!  I always found that if my production got low during an illness, hydrating really helped a lot.
