New Year's Resolutions

Care to share?  I haven't thought about it yet, all I know is that I'm going to try to make 2011 way better than 2010.

Re: New Year's Resolutions

  • -Attend church on Sundays

    -Lose 55 pounds

-Blog a minimum of 3 times a week

-Send snail mail to a friend or relative once a week

-Read at least one hour a day (I love to read, but haven?t made time for it!)

-Make a budget and stick to it!

-Workout on my Wii 30 minutes a day

-Get to the gym 3 times a week

-Give myself a pedicure every week

  • I usually do New Year's resolutions, but I told my H that I don't have any this year because I have already perfected myself.  Stick out tongue

Seriously, though, I don't have any specific resolutions this year to speak of.  However, my goal for 2011 is better time management with work, volunteer work, fitness, misc. responsibilities, and personal life.  I haven't yet figured out how to improve in this regard, but I've decided I have to do something.  Last year was too stressful because I felt like I wasn't managing my time well.

That is a great goal!  One that I should have for myself as well.  I am horrible at managing time, and add unnecessary stress to my life on weekly basis!

  • Mine is to pay myself first!  Before I pay our bills I'm putting at least $20 in our Christmas, vacation, house projects and my son's accounts.

    That's a good one too!

  • I am going totally cliche and saying I want to get back in better shape and in a healthy routine of eating better and working out regularly. I also resolve to make it through my first semester of law school (squee!).
  • I don't normally "set" resolutions but this year, for some reason, I thought a lot about what I want to do to better myself and set some goals.  Some are boring running ones (sub 20 min 5K, sub 1:55 25K, sub 1:40 Half Mary), I want to read more and I want to spend some time/money on improving the house.  I also want to learn how to use my SLR and Photoshop.  So basically they're all boring. :-)
