where/ when did you live in CR?
It's pretty much my fave place in the world. DH and I did a stint there too.

Re: ::::Michelle:::
I lived there from June-August 2006. I did a 10 week program that was related to counseling/school psychology. I lived with a family outside of San Jose (in San Pedro), and went to a school in the morning for kids with special needs and in the afternoon, we had Spanish class in San Jose. We had 2 weeks of vacation time in the middle. There were a few places I never made it to that I wanted to go to, like more of the Eastern side of the country, such as Tortuguero if I remember right? We took weekend trips to Manuel Antonio, Jaco, and Montezuma (I think?) and for the 2 weeks off, I went to Monteverde, Arenal, and Tamarindo. It was such an amazing experience.
When were you there? Where did you live? I would love to go back again.
Wow you were all over the place girl. Oh that's so neat. I'd love to do something like that in the future. BIL lived in SAn Pedro when he was at UCR.
DH and I were living in Pavones ( down in the Gulfo Dulce close to Panama). Before I came down he was living in Puerto Viejo de Limon on the Caribe side. i was lucky to travel all over the country, but I still love Pavones the most.
I really miss it, and can't wait until we can go back again. I think I could def live in CR long term.

Oh wow, that is close to Panama! I would love to travel down to that area as well, and Limon too.
I can see why people move there - it's so relaxed and beautiful. If it wouldn't be so hard for me to be that far from my family, I could definitely move there long term!
