I am an admitted TV junkie. I love it. Not the best thing to admit, but whad'ya gonna do?
Anyone else out there want to admit their love of TV? What shows are you into?
Aside from reruns or Friends, Seinfeld, The Office, Everybody Loves Raymond, these are my favs right now:
Modern Family
Southland
Brothers & Sisters
Desperate Housewives
How I Met Your Mother (Though this season is sucky)
Glee (Ditto above)
SNL (Though it doesn't compare to the 90's)
The Office
Phew...that's a lot.
Your favorites?
Re: Any other TV junkies?
We don't watch many shows on TV primetime, but we do catch up on our favorites via netflix, hulu, or surfthechannel.
Our favorites are:
True Blood, CSI, NCIS, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, South Park, Law& Order:SVU, Psych, Smallville (I'm starting Dh from the beginning though), The Walking Dead, Pawn Stars
I have probably forgotten some of them. Like I said, we don't usually watch these shows when they are originally broadcast but we do try to catch up on our favorites when we have time.
We're not really huge into TV. I think we would be moreso if we had TiVo or DVR.
But I like to watch: Anything Kardashians, House Hunters, and Real Housewives (pretty much HGTV or whatever is "juicy" On Demand)
Occassionally we'll watch Modern Family or Undercover Boss.
We watch a ton of movies though

Totally there with you:
House
Modern Family
The Office
Community
Parks & Rec
16 & Pregnant
Mythbusters
Deadliest Catch
Kendra
Grey's Anatomy (giving it another try after a 2 year hiatus)
Dexter
Burn Notice
The Soup
LOL - thank goodness they aren't all on the same season cycle!!!
I am a huge TV junkie. It's embarrassing really, though I justify it because I am never *just* watching TV. I'm always doing something else (like reading TN). Some of my favorite shows are:
Modern Family, The Office, 30 Rock, Law and Order: SVU, The Good Wife
And of course there's the plethora of reality TV that I like:
Real Housewives (all of them), The Bachelor, Survivor, Amazing Race, Police Woman of Dallas Cnty, Top Chef, Iron Chef
And I'm sure there are more.
And I suck - I didn't see April's TV post until today..I must have missed it during all the "stuff" that went down. My bad!
I still want to discuss TV, though lol
Yup, I'm a total junkie. I may have a problem. Our DVR can record two things at a time, but if it's recording two things, you can't put on a third channel. It drives Clinton NUTS when he goes to turn on Sports Center or something the DVR won't let him b/c I'm recording "Gossip Girl" and "Two and a Half Men" or something. This happens probably once a week. He wasn't into TV at all before me, but I've totally brought him down to my level. Let's see, what am I into...
Gossip Girl, How I Met Your Mother, The Bachelor/ Bachelorette (even though I know it's making me dumber. I don't even care), Glee (obsessed), Intervention, Celebrity Rehab, Modern Family, Better With You, The Office, 30 Rock (again, obsessed), and probably some others I'm forgetting.
Yup. I'm an addict.
ten-tenners' may siggy: me & mama on my wedding day
What's LittleMissNewlywed Cooking?
I only have a few shows that I watch, and half the time I watch them online as I get behind on them when life gets busy.
Trueblood
Vampire Diaries
Gossip Girl
Greek (which the season premiere is tonight!)
Trip to Prague & bring home furbaby when we get back

I don't watch much TV, but I am crazy obsessed with the shows I do watch:
Glee (that's the top of my list...I never, ever miss an episode!)
LA Ink
American Idol (when it's on)
Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It (I know, I know...but I really do still think he's hot...there's no accounting for taste, I guess. And his littlest girl is so freaking cute, I tune in just to see what she's up to!)
and...tonight's premiere: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. I am so reading high school kid books, just to catch up on this show, and I have been dying for the new season to start!
I have to say THANK GOD for DVR!!! Now that I am an old lady with a career staying up to watch shows on past 10 pm is just not possible!
The shows I DVR regularly include:
Project Runway, The Office, Hoarders, Psych, Desperate Housewives, CSI, Mythbusters, Top Chef, Pretty Little Liars, Breaking Bad (I know there are more, but they aren't coming to mind now)
I love that cable channels don't follow the regular tv season, it allows for year round new episodes!
I also am a Discovery ID addict. It is my go-to channel when nothing else is on.
I am SO. HAPPY! this show is finally back this month. I love it. And now that Rob Lowe is on, I'm even happier. I lurve him. (My husband calls him my boyfriend. So on Thursdays he'll say, "are you excited to see your boyfriend tonight?" He's so understanding.)
Annnnyway, I'm a recovering tv junkie. I used to be much worse, but now my "must see list" aside from Parks & Rec is: Mad Men, Dexter, True Blood, 30 Rock, The Office (though it's been meh the last couple of years), Project Runway, In Treatment, The Big C, and United States of Tara. And I'll watch the h*ll out of the Freaks & Geeks and Undeclared marathons IFC runs occasionally. And I'm not as embarrassed as I should be to admit that if I'm home while there's a Tori and Dean marathon, I won't change the channel. (I don't understand it, because I don't really like either of them.)
Also, we have 2 tvs and 2 dvrs - one for "our" stuff, and 1 for mine. (It may or may not be full of Lifetime movies. Ahem.)
