how often do you need a physical?
i have an appointment to check up on my thyroid and my annual gyno exam next month. but, with the new FSA rules, i need a doctor to write me up RX's for OTC allergy medicine and other stuff we buy throughout the year. i had a physical with my PCP last year (all in good health), but i'm not sure if my gyno and endocrinologist would write up zyrtec for me and silly things like sunscreen spf 30+.
thoughts? should i bother getting another physical this year (read online that healthy young women only need a regular adult physical every few years) just to get RXs written for FSA purposes?

the new rules apply to FSA, HSA and MSA. at least with an HSA, your money carries over to the next year; there's no use-it-or-lose-it.
i may ask my endo or gyno to write me those rx's anyway. worse they'll tell me is no, and i'll call my PCP's office then.
I'd try this. But WOW, what a giant PITA!
