Can I AW for a minute (kind long and mushy... read at your own risk!)
I got back from Jamaica yesterday and was just exhausted. I literally had to run through the Memphis airport to get to my flight (they were calling my name) in order to make it because we were held up twice on my connecting flight from Sangster. So when I got in I had a huge headache, I was sore from spending the day in the plane, and hungry. So I was a little annoyed when Cody said he had to go to his Mom's house to let the dogs out before we went home. BUT, he'd greeted me at the airport with white roses and my dog so I forgave him.
Well, turns out he was up to something. 
I sat in the car for about 5 minutes when he called me in and said he wanted to give the dogs extra time but he'd found a pizza in the freezer so he was going to make my food and I should come in. So I get into the house and he gives me a huge hug and a kiss and then leads me into the bathroom... where he's covered the room with rose petals and candles and had a hot bubble bath waiting for me! He also had two Motrin and a big glass of water for me headache (aw!!!!).
So while soaking in the tub he made me a dinner of pizza and rum punch. Only he wouldn't let me have the rum punch because of the Motrin, but I sat in the bubble bath filled with rose petals eating my pizza thinking about how lucky I truly am!
He then proceeds to tell me that the heater is broken in my apartment and since it was 40 degrees out he'd decided I should stay at his Mom's house since it was so cold out. And he'd covered the head board of the bed (which is kind of like a table) with more rose petals and my bees wax candles that I love so much. He then gave me a massage on my bad shoulder since it was really sore and then I drifted off to sleep... relaxed, headache free, and as happy as can be.
I must admit- I used to read all of your DH AW stories and I was jealous. Iwould REALLY have to look hard to find one of my own. But now I keep getting these things I just don't expect. And it's like he could read my mind... pizza was exactly what I had in mind for dinner (I do love me some pizza!) and rum punch was such a perfect call back to Jamaica. I'm sad I couldn't drink it last night so I've had plenty so far tonight. So, yup... I can now hop on the bandwagon of telling AW stories of an SO who really cares about me. It feels good.
