I am strating to freak out... the baby comes next month and I feel like nothing is ready! I know there are lists out there but is there anything that you would suggest me starting to do now? I have been slowly washing baby stuff, looking at nursing bras... I am not going to pack a bag (i was told if i didnt the baby might come early) but will have everything ready to be packed by DH. I am really freaking out here... I am having the baby next month... and nothing is ready. HELP.

Re: freaking out
Don't worry about everything being perfect or ready b/c babies just need a few essentials. It sounds like you've got a lot done already.

if it's any consolation, you can have everything packed and set up and still not be ready. LOL
you never really know what you need, what will work or the proper set up until the baby is actually there. every baby is different and has different needs. as do the parents

I don't know what this old wives tale is about packing a bag and impacting the baby arrival - it sounds as sound as "if you pack an umbrella, it won't rain".
Do all the things you CAN do now, while you have both energy and anxiety, including packing your bag. Just get it done.
When you say NOTHING is ready, can you say yes to any of these?
Crib or bassinet is set up
Changing table is set up, with some newborn diapers and some wipes at the ready.
Have some bottles ready (even if you breast feed, will you pump? and, if so, do you have a pump?)
Do you have a handful of receiving blankets/burping towels that you would lay down on your shoulder when you held the baby, and are they washed and put away where you can find them?
Do you have some basic clothing --onesies, etc. -- in the right size that are washed and where you can find them?
Do you have a swaddling blanket, or know how to swaddle with a receiving blanket?
Do you have a place to sit in the baby's room where you can hold her when she isn't ready to be put down yet or you are feeding her?
Do you have a small light in the baby's room set up for a night light?
Seriously, there isn't much you need for sure on week one or even month one that I'm sure you don't have.
Emotionally, will you be ready? Never. Will you ever even FEEL ready? Of course not. What you're feeling is very normal...
(yes, I know... a lot of advice from someone who has never had kids!!!)
By the way, if it isn't on your bookshelf already, pick up "The Happiest Baby on the Block" == a book my friends have sworn by.
Don't stress out about it. You will never fully be ready for the baby's arrival. I packed my bag after my 38 week check up. Doctor swore I would have Xander that weekend, he was wrong, it was on the following Wednesday.
The only thing you really need is clean sheets for where the baby will sleep and plenty of onsies and pajamas.
Jess is right, you won't know where you want/need everything to be until the baby is born and home with you.
If I think of more things I will update my list.

My mom is going to be in town and we are going to get things done next thursday... I know I will never be 'ready' but it would be nice to have a few things done:) I bought my nursing bra's today... one thing to check off my list!
I was never happy with my nursing bras, I plan on getting better ones next time around.
I would sterilize some bottles in case you need to supplement while your milk is coming in.
If you get a pnp you can have it double as your changing table. Also have some sheet savers clean and ready to go, we used about 4-5 a week and would wash them as needed.
Oh one more piece of advise, get a laundry bag to put all the mittens, socks and booties into for easy washing. I just hang ours on Xander's hamper and put his dirty socks in it each night.
Sleep sacks are nice for those late night diaper changes.
Since you are team green, do you have a neutral outfit picked out to bring the baby home in or are you bringing two outfits one for each sex?
Things you will need for you:
This may be tmi, but you should get some stool softeners for you to take once you are home, they really help.
Also I used the thick pads for the first two weeks or so after birth, the extra cushion helped.
Witch Hazel wipes were great as well. I would put them on my pads to help the healing process.
Get some rubbing alcohol for the babies umbilical cord if you don't have it in your house.
