I may be jinxing myself

but 2011 is starting off not too shabby!  I got pulled over tonight after a late shift at LLB for not stopping completely at a stop sign.  Geez, officer I was at Cumby's filling my tire b/c my pressure was low and we just moved to town, blah, blah, blah.  No ticket, just a "have a nice night!"  This is heaven because I swear I had no idea why I was getting pulled over and after 6 speeding tickets, officers and I don't get along too well. I like them just fine, they just don't like me :-)

Of course they like you! You're providing them with job security!! :P

  • That's awesome!!  For some reason, I find the cops in ME very forgiving.  I've been pulled over up there 3 times - one for going 83 on the highway, one for 45 in a 25 mph zone in Cumberland, and once for swerving over the center line while driving in fog in Falmouth.  Each time it was like Officer Friendly invaded the police force and they just gave me warnings...thank GOD!!!!  Hope your good luck continues  :o)

  • Ah yes, the good 'ol Cape PD. They're notoriously lenient, especially for the minor stuff Smile

  • Woohoo for nice police officers! I had one like that a few weeks ago when I was pulled over for speeding, I was really grateful. It's always nice when they show you a little leniency for a minor infraction.
