All pine master bedroom (also on Dec&Renovating)
We have a 1950's house with a loft master bedroom. It is done in all pine and our bed doesn't have a headboard. Right now our comforter is a warm chocolate brown with red curtains.
I really want to buy bedside tables, but don't know what color or type of wood they should be. Pine seems like a bit much. Any suggestions?
Re: All pine master bedroom (also on Dec&Renovating)
Hm.... What about distressed white? I am thinking of something light, to contrast all the pine.
Here is what I was thinking (kind of) when I said distressed white.
Pictures are in her siggy link.
I think Mira's idea of white is good. Or maybe black as an alternative?
Are you opposed to painting over the pine? If it were me, I totally would. A nice off white would look nice, and then you could slowly transform your room into a beach house type feel.
I like the furniture Mira posted, too. Anything wood grain is going to clash IMO.
