Okay, not a good system

My boss puts all his to-do's on post its and organizes them in order of importance on his desk. I did this, but put them in front of my computer. Now every time I go to type I get fvcking post its on my sweater. I'm about to throw a temper tantrum.

Good try, but I think I need to either put them somewhere else or go back to my list.

  • I tried that once. I got pissed off at the Post-Its, too, and stopped after two days. :P

  • haha. sometimes i try to put a post it on my computer and it always falls off.

  • I used to put them on my computer but they always fell off. I went back to my beloved list. Nothing in the world feels better than crossing something off my list with a hot pink highlighter. I know, I'm a huge dork...

I TOTALLY agree. That's why I can't get into making lists on my iPhone - it's not as satisfying to electronically cross off something on your to-do list or grocery list. :P

Me too!! And throwing away post its is not only wasteful, it's not nearly as satisfying..

  • Lol! I'm a list fan myself, and have always LOVED crossing stuff off, even as a kid with homework. I also always did my shortest assignments first so I could cross more off faster and feel like I was getting a lot done.
  • When I was in grad school, the computer I had for work was really old, and the monitor was one of those big boxy ones with the big plastic frame around the screen.  I would stick post-its all around it.  It got so bad that I was starting to do a second layer of post-its, and my office mate nearly flipped out and took them all away from me.

I'm a HUGE list maker.  I carry around a notebook at all times so that I can write things down in lists as I need to.  And I LOVE LOVE LOVE crossing stuff off the list.

  • I keep a to-do list on cozi.com. Clicking something off the list isn't quite the same as highlighting it or scratching it out with pen, but there are sound effects!
