New job
I applied for this new job at the university near me. I got an email yesterday saying Congrats, you made the 1st cut. There were 88 other people that recieved the same message. Yikes.

At least if you don't get it you'll know it was because you were up against A LOT of competition! I think you'll wow them though so that point should be moot.
Plusandalso, if you want to hear something ridiculous, I applied for a promotion (technically three different ones) way back in August and to my knowledge, it's 5 months later and they still haven't made a decision about who to place in the positions. Probably has something to do with continuing resolutions and Congress' inability to commit to a budget.
