Bahaha!! I agree that 45 is to old to go clubbing! Maybe she is having some sort of mid life crisis and wants to feel young again? LOL.
I agree, but I wouldn't to see my mom or my MIL do this (although they're both mid- to late 50's). I do think it does depend on where they're going. Even at 31, there are definitely some bars that are too young for me, IMO.
Hey I'm close to 45 and I could see going to the club for my birthday. Lordy now I have 50 Cent in my head.

She never grew up period and refuses to act like an adult most of the time. 45 is by no means old, but around here there are very few clubs and they are either a) ghetto or 2) geared towards 21-23 year olds. I'll be 25 next month and I would feel rediculous at any of those clubs.
Does she want to go to the Pink Pony? I hear they have the best drink specials in town. LOL
LOL...that is kind of funny. They do have clubs for the "older" set, but I definitely would hope she wouldn't try to go to the club with the youngsters!

I completely agree! DH is 45! (while I am a young and 35!) But definitely depends on the club. I have started to feel old the last few times we've gone out. Makes me sad. Have to hang out at the hockey bar more I think - where I am on the younger side!
Maybe the key to "helping" her grow up is to suggest even more outlandish or young things for her to do, like the strip club, or say, Chuck E. Cheese??
