I wanted to change my name, and when you search my old name it brings up tons of posts and I have been spotted before by people I know! So, here I am. If you don't know who I am, I adopted a son :-) Guess who!

I am seriously thinking about changing my name too. How did you find out that people you know spotted you? I think I should've kept my name as "losinghope," lol! It was much more conspicuous. It's still active so I could always go back to it, but it's such a depressing name!

I am well! Not much new to report. Went on vaca over the holidays to visit fam, and DS saw snow!!!!!!
I saw that someone new who I was a long time ago when I posted some stuff for sale on trash to treasure after my wedding. Just didnt think too much of it, and it was someone I was friendly with in college anyways, so it wasnt too big of a deal. Then one day, after reading a post about googling my name, I realized how much was attached to it. So, I decided to change it randomly today !!
I've sometimes wished my screen name didn't have my & H's names in it, especially since our names aren't the most common out there. But since I am too lazy to even change my nearly 1 year old siggy pic, I don't see myself changing my screen name. If only I'd had any idea message boards even existed when I picked the name.

I hear ya about changing your name. Luckily, "lauren9317" isn't a name that anyone IRL knows, so I don't think anyone would search for me by it. But that's why I never put my email address in posts-- if I did, and someone googled my email address, these nests posts would come right up!
I know, I hate that mine is mine & H's names, but like everyone else, I didn't realize it would show like that.
How are you? Are you back to work? I go tomorrow...boooo!
