I am so sick of working. Why can't someone pay me to stay home instead? Today is moving at a snail's pace.

I'm torturing myself by attempting to find boots that will fit my gigantor calves. Lane Bryant has a couple pairs on their site but they're only available in size 12W. A lot of the ones I'm finding claim to be "wide shaft", but I am in staunch disagreement with them.
I really love these but I have no idea how big the opening is and they're really expensive:

I was only off for a week and a half, and I still don't know how I worked a full 8 hours every day. I work up this morning and thought, "I have to go to work AGAIN!? I just did that yesterday!" It doesn't help that our traffic (and therefore inquiries) is down and people are freaking out and looking to me to explain it. It's worse than last year so "holiday lull" won't cut it.
