Too funny.... student related
Today's highlight: I'm correcting a lab report the students did on dragon mating. One question asks about sex linked traits (traits more common in one sex or another). Then it asks about the benefits of that trait to that particular sex.
In dragons having no wings is dominant in males, my students writes this is beneficial because:
"So when the momma dragon and the daddy dragon get in a fight while mom is on her period flying in the air. The daddy dragon can go find a hole to hide in until her cramps are gone and she's all happy again"
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Too funny.... student related
You certainly get the good ones! I never get stories like that.
My sister last night told me of a 5th grader that basically asked her how we got to the moon without "popping the bubble". The bubble, one assumes, would be the atmosphere.
ahh I see, can't fit in a hole with the wings.
