This will be TMI.
It's incredibly embarrassing to have IBS; it's even more embarrassing that you seem to enjoy flaring up whenever one of my good friends from uni comes to town so I'm tied to the bathroom with my stomach in knots. I'm sure he thinks I'm blowing him off, when, in fact, I've spent all day running back and forth to the toilet and I'm really not trying to be a terrible friend.
I don't get embarrassed often, but I really am right now. That and intestinally crampy.
