  Not sure if this will help, but the teacher I worked with last year (I am a Para-Educator) googled and found different websites with resume examples to help her with wording and such.  She got an excellent position in a local NH public school.  Other than that sorry I don't have any suggestions.

  First off-STUPID NEST!!  I wrote you a nice reply and then "an error occured" while I tried to post it!

  Anyways, I have been on the interview committee for new teachers at my school for the last six years.  I don't know how much I can help with the resume, I usually give it a glance when we are ready to interview a canidate and look for potential questions I can ask.  Of course, the resume is what gets you the interview so I am putting the cart before the horse!

  I think if your resume is sparse, add any actvities that would compliment your job performance.  For example, if we were interviewing a science teacher and she had experience in a research lab I would think of her as a stronger canidate for the position.  Another example, if we were interviewing an agriculture teacher (as we did last spring), seeing that she has worked on a farm would go a long way.

  Aslo, besides what it actually says, it's important for your resume to look good. HR is looking at a lot of resume's and they're all black and white and look the same. Use the resume' builder took in Microsoft Word, and add a little color to your resume. It makes it stand out. Even if you're bringing it to a one on one interview, it will give a visual to help the interviewer remember you.

  I'm pretty good with resumes - my degree in PR comes in handy sometimes. I'd be happy to help if I can! ....and don't forget the cover letter. THAT is what really gets you the interview!
