f/u - i survived...

I'm sure you were all just waiting to make sure I made it back alive from my MRIWink

I was a big girl. I didn't cry. Only one time did the lady have to tell me to slow down my breathing so I didn't pass out. HA. I got to listen to music while they ran not one, but TWO tests. And I had to contain my laughter and keep my head still when Baby Got Back come on over the headphones. It was hard not to start dancing in the narrow tunnel I was bolted into haha.

No results yet, but I survived the IV woooo.

Re: f/u - i survived...

  • Awesome job!!  It's weird isn't it?  I had an upper abdomen one 6 months ago and I have to go back like now.  No fun.  The weirdest thing is I felt like I had to pee while the iv was in.  So surreal.

  • I had different dye, apparently. As I was freaking out about the needle I was hyperventilating questions at the lady doing it, and she said I would feel no different, not like dyes that are usually used with scans. Not sure why mine was different? Maybe bc they were lookin in my head. I dont know... The dye was clear. It was weird. I was convinced for some reason it was going to be blue.

  • Oh that's good, that's the part of it that I thought was the worst, or at least the weirdest.  Are you so proud of yourself that you made it through?  If you can handle that you can handle any silly ol bloodtest :)  Hope you get good results Yes and  LOL at Baby Got Back :)

  • Glad you made it. When do you hear the results? Keep us posted. I'll be thinking of you. I know things will work out just fine. Did you share my joke with them?

  • Glad to hear you survived.  I hope I never need an MRI again.  H said I looked like I was going to punch the lady in the face if she told me one more time not to move.  I wasn't moving intentionally, my back spasms were that bad!
  • The report will come to the office I work at on Friday, but I am seeing the specialist next week.

And I forgot to tell your joke I was focused too hard on not shaking so they wouldn't have to hold me down haha.
