That car commercial & a baby
So, I don't know if everyone has seen the new toyota corolla commercial where the wife comes out the bathroom with her pregnancy test in hand & says "We're going to have a baby." & the husband goes to their driveway pondering what the deal's going to be with getting rid of his stylish coupe & then magically turns it into the new 4 door corolla & starts jumping for joy yelling "We're going to have a baby!" ..
well that came on tv & I laughed a bit at the thought of what my DH would do if we were in that position. He asked me what I thought was so funny & I shared with him that I doubt he'd run to our driveway & jump around yelling that. He said he'd probably not, but he'd be happy. Then he followed that up & said "Well, I mean, I guess. If we were trying, yeah. But, I don't really know. I'm not in the position to say what I'd do because I really don't know." Honest. I don't know what I'd do either.
But this conversation leads me to wonder ... to the moms & dads out there, what were the reactions when you found out you were going to be parents?

I will admit, I always wonder what my H's reaction to that news would be. I think it would be similar... TOTALLY freaked out but also excited. I have a feeling we'd both be walking around our house like zombies for the next few hours... just staring off into the distance.

I would be the guy in the situation, petting my beloved 2 door coupe if I found out I was pregnant. However, I still would refuse to give it up. Ill let the hubby drive the kid hauler haha!!
