Gift ideas for Boy's first B-day?
Any suggestions? They already have the big stuff that we have or are planning on getting Caroline. Looking for something maybe a little different (that he may not get a few repeats of) I'd like to keep the cost low since we've already spent a fortune on this child in the past year (and DH is turning down big OT to attend his B-day party on a Sunday so I'm a little bitter haha) We had found these cute wooden cars on Amazon but they aren't age appropriate. I know there are a lot of boy mama's on here so figured I'd ask the pros. TIA!

Something like this would be different! I know Joshua still loves to "race" cars! And you can't beat the price!

Luke got this cute toy from my BIL/SIL. It's a b-day cake that has 5 candles and when you blow on them they go out. It can be used for every birthday up to age 5. Luke thought it was hilarious to blow the candles out. I've put it away and on his 2nd b-day will bring it back out.
Just an idea. Honestly, clothes have been key though.
Bryce got some of the Chuck and Friends toys for Christmas - they have some that are 12m+. H is excited about them since he picked them out and wants it to be there "thing" - so he wants to get them for everything birthday/Christmas for Bryce.
But - they are much cheaper in the store too - Amazon has some of the sets listed for $15-$20 that are cheaper at Target.

When my cousins were little, I would always buy them PJs. They had every toy on the planet and would still get clothes, but no one ever bought them PJs. They loved those just as much as any other gift and I know my aunt and uncle appreciated it.
Books are also great too.
