I went to the post office today to pick up two parcels and neither of them were from my Secret Santa.
I guess I wasn't on the nice list this year!

I tried to respond to this yesterday, but it wouldn't let me....
kaesha, your SS informed me (earlier) that your gift was supposed to go in the mail on Dec 18 (after saying it was going in the mail on Dec 15) so I believe that they did get you something. You SS may have had her baby a bit earlier than expected and that may be why you haven't gotten anything yet. I don't think I've seen her posting since then.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Sigh. This kinda makes me feel like a jerk, because I don't want to hate on anyone for having a baby, you know? And, additionally, I've been guilty of late parcels... but I've always sent them. This sucks! This is the third time my swapper has decided that they're too busy to send anything to me, and I think I'm really done with these events. They make me feel crappy and that people think I'm not worthwhile to send stuff to.

booo, that stinks. I think that if people end up being busy, they should just say so and I'm SURE someone else would step up and send a gift to their secret santa. I know I would!
I'm guilty of sending late too, but I've always sent them. Leo never got mine the first go around (super sad face) and I actually never found out if mbs79 ever got mine. in my opinion, it's a little rude to not let someone know that you got their gift. just sayin.

I agree! Not saying thank is also a total faux pas.
The only upside to my two parcels yesterday was that one of them was from a girl on my local who, two years ago, promised to send me a present after my swapper disappeared. She didn't. Until this year. So, I got one from here, albeit it two years late!!
