Some of our good friends had their first baby yesterday... Being up at the hospital all day and holding that little man gave me my first inkling of baby fever. It blindsided me! All throughout her pregnancy, I joked that I didn't want to "catch it" with her. Ahh!!! Help! Haha! (I'm sorry, LER, I feel like I'm leaving the wolf pack. No worries, though... Not completely for another few years, but sheesh!)

This is the longest it's been since I joined my gym (ok, only a year ago) that I've gone without stepping foot in the gym. If that makes sense. Ie, it's been 3 weeks since I've been to the gym. This is bad.
In more awesome news, the squat rack we ordered should be in tomorrow! Yay for not actually having to go to the gym soon!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Ummm... my calendar says my appointment is at 1:15 but I remembered it as 11:00 so right now I'm not entirely sure whether I can trust myself to have put it in my calendar right. I called the clinic but they don't seem to have anyone on the phone to answer these questions. Crossing my fingers.

Leo, I'll join your wolf pack.
My confession is that I've gained 10-12lbs since my wedding. Today Dh woke up went to the gym and came back with an idea about us being accountability buddies (stolen from South Park) and going every day for the next 21 days to make a habit out of it. I really hope I can make it stick and keep going. I seem to go through spurts of being really good and going 3-4 times a week then it sort of slides off into nothing.
I feel better when I work out. DH and I both need to be healthier.
And then there were three.
eeeeva, just wanted to say that H and I are gym buddies and it's great--we motivate and encourage each other to go. Makes it so much easier.
Everyone in my office is on a New Year's diet. I haven't been to the grocery store in ages so I don't have a lot of options for eating healthy right now so.... every day at lunch I feel like a gross pig in comparison to my co-workers.
I need to get my butt to the grocery store pronto!
Make it 4. I just started a new job, so no baby-making on this brain.
My baby-making related confession - my MIL wants nothing more in this world than a grandchild. She makes it a point to remind me, Kyle and his siblings about it pretty much every time she sees any of us (neither SIL or BIL have children yet and Kyle is the youngest of the 3). She even went so far as to call up SIL on her birthday which also happened to be her last day at her previous job and ask if she was planning on getting pregnant any time soon. SIL's response, well seeing as how I'm unemployed, I don't think it would be a good time. Needless to say MIL has complete, out-of-control grandbaby fever. So, whenever I'm around her at a family function (which usually involves alcohol), I find myself getting quite drunk in front of her, just to prove that I'm obviously not pregnant.
I shall be number 5. I will be graduating at the end of this year and hoping to find my first job as a civil engineer so yeah no baby for me for a while. If we are luck maybe in 2.5 years we can start TTC.
Confession:
I think this post is awesome.
