The Dreaded Job Search

Hello Everyone!!  First off, I'm a lurker so I apologize that this is one of my only contributions to this board...I'll try to be better!!  But I'm in desperate need of help in the dreaded job search!  I've been very unhappy in my job situation for quite some time but have not had much luck with finding something else.  Since it's a New Year, I am bound and determined to move on and up!  Does anyone have any suggestions, referrals, etc.  As I'm sure many of you can relate...having a bad work life is pretty rotten and can tend to flow into other areas of your life!!  YUCK!

Anyways, I'm looking for something North of Atlanta (I'm in the Acworth/Kennesaw area).  I graduated with a marketing degree and have been a marketing assistant for 3 years.  I enjoy marketing but I'm certainly open to exploring other options.  Any help/advice is much appreciated!  Thanks in advance and I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!!

Re: The Dreaded Job Search

  • Try talentzoo.com or mediabistro.com I have had good luck with those.

  • I agree with Indeed, also what kind of Marketing do you do? Do you do Graphics and Logos? Trade shows? Just asking incase we have something come up here.

  • FWIF: the ones I suggested are media specfic. Marketing, Advertising and PR- and all mediums that come with the territory. Talent Zoo also pulls from other sites like indeed only marketing, pr and ad jobs.

  • Thank you all so much. These websites have been a tremendous help and are all very good.  To be honest, I'm not very good with graphics (I wish I was) but I'm more of the ideas person.  I'm more interested in advertising and pr types...things that I can use my creativity for.  Thanks again for all of your help!
