Does anyone watch this show? I'd seen commercials, I guess a new season is starting tonight. Since I was sent home early, and nothing was on, I've been watching a marathon of the old episodes and I am so confused about some things. I tried googling episode summaries but they still don't tell me anything. Hmph.
If anyone knows WTF is going on in this show, please respond and let me know WTF happened to their friend (Alison?), what secret are these girls hiding, why everyone thinks Toby is some kind of creepy weirdo, WTF is up with his weird blind sister, and why there's a video of the one girl (Emily?) kissing another girl (Maya?).
Also, I find it highly unlikely that 'A' could possibly be following all of these girls, finding all of their secrets and taping them and whatnot. No one can be in four places at once, doesn't this person have school or a job or something?
Re: Pretty Little Liars?
Based on what I know from the books (which is really just reading their summaries), their friend Alison went missing, I think while they were all out together. Alison later turns up dead. And I saw some cast interviews while flipping through channels that basically said the group as a whole had several secrets, as does each girl. I never read the series, but I always kind of thought the stalker "A" was their friend Alison. But if she's dead, then I guess not.
I doubt that was helpful at all.

LOL, yep! I told Jeff that it was such a funny movie, and then when he watched it he said that it's effed up that I think that movie is funny. Which is weird, since we usually have a very similar sense of humor...

Dats-best line of the movie, LOVE IT! Plus, who doesn't love a little Yoo Hoo? And Laura, I think the movie is hilarious too.
I've watched the show a couple of times, but one of my friends is addicted to the show and watched it religiously.
As far as I understand it goes as follows: All of the girls were friends and one summer night they were all hanging out and Allison disappeared. A year later they find her dead body.
The secret the girls are all hiding is that sometime earlier, they had been playing a prank which ended up catching a garage or workshop on fire severely hurting a girl and making her blind. Her brother is Toby and he is now her caretaker. But no one knows who set the fire other than the girls.
Each of the girls has some secret, (sorry I don't know names) the brunette with the always shocked expression on her face was hiding the fact that her dad had cheated on her mom. She also is hooking up with the English teacher. The waspy one has a problem with hooking up with her sister's boyfriends. The sporty one is a lesbian. I can't remember the blonde's secret, but apparently previously she was overweight and Allison helped her lose the weight. Oh, that and her mom is Sydney from Melrose Place and is currently broke.
Now they're all being taunted by "A" that is bringing out their secrets and messing with their heads, they all thought it was Toby, since he's already creepy and apparently may know that they set the fire that messed up his sister. But it turns out that he and his sister were hooking up as well...which is weird and gross.
Sorry this is so long, and maybe doesn't make sense, but this is what I can piece together.
Thanks Kaz!!!
The brother and sister hooking up is very gross. I *think* they are step-siblings, but that's not much better.
No problem! You can thank my friend Sarah, who recapped everything for me.
All the inane drama makes me want to start watching it.
