Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

The good balances the bad
Last night I told K about the dog and then we went to bed shortly there after. Neither one of us could really sleep, but at some point I dozed off. Then at 3am K comes into the bedroom telling me that I have to get in her office and hear her read an email to me. Um...ok...it's 3am! Why are you checking email? After stumbling out of bed and copping a spot on the floor of her office, K preceeds to read me an email from a university in California. Well actually San Fran to be exact. The email is an attempt to recruit her for a teaching position! The email listed every possible thing about K that could make her a match for the school. They mention her experience working in Northern Cal on budget and financial issues (she used to work at the capital)....her lgbt research and activisim.....everything. Wow! So K has already emailed with the lady a few times and they will be speaking on the phone next week. Who knows where this will go but it's really exciting! California!!! How odd it would be if this journey really did take us back to your starting point.
