I can't remember if it was someone from this board or TK-DIY, but I want to try to attempt to "bind" our wedding cards together and make a book.
I'm in the middle of googling directions, but if you have any idea what I'm talking about (or look google challenges), please share!
Re: Card Books
I plan on using these instructions to make mine. I think it was from the same off the DIY board.

I am hoping to attempt this tonight!

Here's another idea from the same post

I can't decide which I like better

That one seems easier. That is a tough one but I think I like the off beat one better. Mainly because I have a little one that likes to get into stuff and I would hate to have her untie it consistently. I think either one would look nice though.
This is an awesome idea! I've had my cards sitting in a bag not really sure what to do with them.
I'll have to try one of these. Good thing I work for an archival company, I can easily find book binding supplies.
Nice Dyork!
Any thoughts on which would hold up better over time? I almost think the ring book b/c I'd be nervous the off-beat glue would stop working...but I like the look of the off-beat better!

Love this!
I prefer the ring method - simply because I would fear the adhesive will eventually weaken and fray as old books do. And now I have something to do when Mike's away in a couple weeks!
Thanks for sharing!
More advanced, but super cute!
