I'm thinking of starting a blog.

Have any of you run a blog before?  Any advice?

wish me luck!

Where we met - Mount Isa
a small mining town in the Australian Outback. Neither of us are from there but we both moved there in the second last year of highschool. He was moved next to me in maths class to stop him talking. It didn't work.

Re: I'm thinking of starting a blog.

  • I have started one in the past and have thought about starting one again. I don't really have any advice other than the blogs that I pay attention to are ones that are either funny, or have some pertinatnt information to my life or my friend's lives. Just go for it and have fun! I think I will pay attention to your blog if you write one, post links!

  • I have a blog!  You can click on my link in siggy.  I haven't been updating it much lately, but I'm going to start back soon.

I really like having a blog and I have made some really awesome friends during the process.  I say go for it! I would definitely read your blog :)

  • sweet. I bought a domain name this morning - smilesoup.com

I'm planning on it being a blog about the little things in life that make me smile and make the world a richer, happier place.

I envisage photos, quotes, anecdotes and short videos.  I want to update it frequently - hopefully daily.

    Would you go read that?

  • Thanks girls :D

It'll take a little while to get off the ground - I'm hoping to launch in February.  It'll be a weekend and evening hobby for me and I want to have some posts prepared before I hit go.  I'll keep you all posted (pardon the pun!)
