Also, feel free to post any lol-animals, because they make me smile.
But llama anything makes me think of my mom. I call her the mama llama (ML for short). And when I have kids (and when they can form larger words), she'll be the grandmama llama.
I also have an aunt I call Naunie, for no apparent reason. Her name is Darlene.
Anyone else?

My Pawpaw always called me heifer when I was little.
LOL I never once in my life thought anything bad about it until just a couple of months ago when I said that and everyone in the room looked as if my Pawpaw must have been a horrible man. I paniced and defended him by saying, "But he meant it in a good way!" LMAO

I call Keith Poohkins. I have no idea why.
My dad's cousin, Rhonda, is called Booger. She's a 50 year old woman and if the whole family gets together, she's still called Booger. From what I understand, she had a hard time keeping her finger out of her nose when she was little. :-)
Oh, and they've always called my aunt Barbara, George. I guess when she was a baby she closely resembled the town drunk... George.

Brad's family is big on the nicknames.
FIL (Dave) is Digger... he used to own a trenching service
his uncles (Randy, Dan, and another Randy) are: Six-Pack (because he's always drinking beer), Boom-Boom (I think it's because he's loud...or because he likes to shoot guns) and Shadetree (a play on his last name)
his little cousin, Brianna is called Butters (she was a chubby baby)
I have an uncle we have always called Uncle Boink....no idea why and a cousin we call Spooky.
We have three Kevins in our family (one of them being Spooky) and so we have numbered them for reference. They are numbered in order of appearance so Kevin #1 is my cousin, Kevins 2 & 3 both married into the family. They are all aware of their numbers, and Kevin #1 always reminds everyone he is the original.
My grandma and grandpa were always referred to as "Bub and Gus" by her side of the family. Not sure where "Bub" came from, but I guess Grandma was a very serious sort as a child, so they called her "Gloomy Gus", and "Gus" just kinda stuck.
My step-granddaughter calls me "Emmy", because my stepdaughter can't stand to refer to someone only 7 years older than her as "Grandma", which is fine with me, because I wasn't ready for it either!
My sister (2 yrs youger than I) and I call each other "Mr" or miss....it started when we were young and at one point I tried to convince my sister that she was a boy (why were bull-haircuts popular back then?) and I started calling her "Mr. Sister" and she'd cry. The name has lived on, but just been shortened to Mr.
Other strange nick-names for friends:
Beef - he's a big guy, Ratface - a friend from high-school, I'm not sure how this started or why she still allows it, Feetich (pronounced feet-itch) b/c the kid used to always complain that his feet itched

My gradmother (Jean) was referred to as Beaner/Bean my whole life. It started with Jean, Jean the Dancing Machine.. which was turned to Jean the Bean the Farting Machine.. shortened to Beaner and somehow shortened to Bean. Every single person in my life knew her as Bean.
Sorta similar.. I have one of those families that calls the elders weirdo names;
Great Grandmother 1 - Nunnie
Great Grandmother 2 - Noonie
Great Grandfather 1 - Pappaw
Great Grandfather 2 - Pappap
We used to call one of my little brothers boo-boo-butt. I have no idea why but we did and my mom and dad always used to call me smooch. Actually my mom still does. I guess when I was little (1 or 2) I used to run around giving everyone kisses.
And I think I have officially embarrassed myself online..lol
Oh, we have a lot of those in the family.
My Pawpaw's two brothers were always called Punky and Buck. I have NO IDEA what Buck's real name is. I remember seeing Punky in work shirts that said both Pete and Paul. So, I don't know if his name was Peter Paul or Paul Peter.
I didn't find out until just a year or so ago that my Pawpaw's dad's name was Frank. He died in 1961, so I never met him. I had only heard him as "The Old Man" until one day I was thinking about it, and realized I had no idea what his name was. It took phone calls to both of my aunts, my mom, and finally my dad, to find out his name. Frank Henry (one of my dad's cousins and father to "Little Frank") made a whole lot more sense after that. The Old Man's wife was always just called Maw. I knew her, she lived until I was in high school. Her name was either Ethel or Evelyn and her sister was whatever one she wasn't. Her sister, who we all called Poodle.
Oh, and my dad has a cousin on that side too, called Biggie. She's really little and always has been, so it's like calling a really tall guy Tiny I guess. lol

That's so funny cause I call my Mom Mama Jo!!
I called her Mama Jo at my bridal shower and some of his family members asked why I called her that, and I have no reason...I just like to!
And they said, "Is Jo her middle name?"
Nope!
