How do you clean your laminate "wood" floors?
we have this floor throughout our whole house with the exception of some area rugs. I'd like to find something more effective than our dust mop we use to sweep...something with a little spritz or something ?? Or maybe an actual vacuum -something strong enough to suck up food messes around the kitchen table from the kids meal time.
Thanks in advance!!.
Re: How do you clean your laminate "wood" floors?
We use a combination of a Roomba and broom & dust pan to pick up dirt and fur, and then microfiber cloths on a Swiffer and a vinegar/water solution to mop. We soak the cloth in the solution, and then spritz with a spray bottle as it gets dry until we need to change the cloth (usually one room).
My mom has also has wood laminate floors, and she uses a Swiffer Wet Jet, but I don't like that you have to use their solution. I'm interested in trying the Libman Freedom Spray Mop.
Broom and dust pan, then swiffer, then swiffer wet. I just use the wet cloths, not the wet jet. Anything that requires more work than that, I just get down on my hands and knees and wipe with whatever cleaning solution I need.
The nice thing about laminate floors is that they're hard to ruin. You can use many more products on them than you can on regular wood floors.
