While I was on Christmas break, I discovered that Little House on the Prairie comes on at 6am on one of the local channels here. I freaking LOVE that show! I am so excited! I watched it every day of my break, and since Keith leave around 6:15am in the morning, I can watch it every day before work now too! Yay!
Also, after it goes off, The Beverly Hillbillies comes on another channel, for an hour. My whole morning TV viewing during the break was awesome!
LHOTP, Beverly Hillbillies, and an hour of Frasier! It was heaven!
What are some of your favorite old TV shows?
Missing our little turkey.

Re: Back in the day TV
I could watch it all day long and NEVER get tired of it.
I LOVE the Golden Girls. They are on at 9 (or were last summer when I was off work) and I always made sure my workout was that time so I could enjoy. They still make me laugh out loud.
And I adore Gilmore Girls too, but I agree they are not old school yet. Gilmore Girls are my during the school year workout show.
I also LOVE Saved by the Bell. I make SBTB references in my classroom all the time and so many kids don't get them....so sad. I don't understand why when I call a time out during a lab activity why everyone doesn't instantly freeze and wait for me to say time in before moving again.
Ahh I am a sucker for older shows, Nick at Nite used to be my go-to channel in the 90's..
I Love Lucy, Welcome Back Kotter, All in the Family, I Dream of Genie, Munsters, Bob Newhart, Golden Girls, Mary Tyler Moore, Taxi, Sanford & Son, Three's Company, Get Smart, *** Van ***, Happy Days, .. those are just off the top of my head. Anytime I catch any of these on, I'm glued for a few hours!
I watched entirely too much TV growing up, so I have quite a few:
A-Team, Scarecrow & Mrs. King, Magnum P.I., Quantum Leap, Cosby Show, Family Ties, Simon & Simon, Charlie's Angels
But, without a doubt, my favorite was always MacGyver. Coincidentally, Richard Dean Anderson starred in one of my favorite more recent shows: Stargate SG-1.
My badddd Nest Gods! I didn't realize my lame-o old show title was going to cause red flags, whoops!
At first I was thinking, what does she mean? Then I went back and compared your two lists and realized what happened. That's pretty funny!
