Cordless Stick Vac Recommendation

Anyone have one they love?  I've had a Eureka one for probably five years and really liked it but will either need to replace the battery or buy something new.  I figured I'd check out what else was out there.

TIA!

Re: Cordless Stick Vac Recommendation

  • I have a Shark 2-in-1 Hand and Stick vac. I love it. It's the best one I've had. When I use it, I'm amazed at how much stuff it picks up even though the floor looks relatively clean to me (we have a tan dog, so her fur kind of blends in to the floor).

Haha...makes me think I should've got a tan dog instead of a black one.  I sweep daily and I still sind his hair everywhere.  It's annoying.

I was also wondering and came on this site today to ask this question as well.  I've read good things about the Hoover LINX (if you wanna spend about $150) and also the Shark VX3 (about $45).  The VX3 isn't the one the pp was referring to - it doesn't convert to a hand vac like hers - but it's supposed to have a slightly longer battery life and dip under furniture easily.  For what it's worth, Dirt Devil has a 2-in-1 vac like the pp's Shark and the reviews on it are the same but I think it's more $.  I've always been against the Shark company for their generally cheap-quality products and excessive marketing hype, but if you're in the market for one that doesn't cost a lot, a Shark may be a good choice.
