**Alishanyc - Cruise question
Hey there! Looks like i found a very similar cruise to the one that you and your DH went on 2yrs ago!
It's a 7 day Bahama cruise that departs/arrives from NYC, from Norwegian cruise line. The ports are Port Canaveral, FL, Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau. How did you and your DH feel about all of the 'at sea' days? I'd be totally fine just lounging around, eating and sleeping on those days.
It's a mini-suite with a balcony and it'd be just under $2000 for the both of us. Does that sound decent?
I'm a member of USAA and that's where i'm finding this cruise and i get discounts.
Re: **Alishanyc - Cruise question
Hi!
Yeah, we went on a Carnival cruise out of NYC, and we had the same setup - suite w/ balcony and it was around $1600.00.
As for the days at sea - we had a ball. Yes you do the lounging around, eating thing - but we did the shows, and we went dancing and just had a great time...for us, we didn't really notice it.
I think cruises are what you make of it, ya know? We really had a good time.
What I will tell anyone is: be mindful of the drinks you're having. THAT'S where the big $$ comes in.LMAO. Its so convenient to not have to carry cash, and charge it all to your room, ya know? I remember when we were settling our bill, people were having a heart attack when they realized just how much they charged to their room with the booze. LMAO
