moms - baby monitor recs?
there are so many different kinds out there! any feedback/advice would be appreciated. tia
Re: moms - baby monitor recs?
It depends on what you want from a baby monitor. We wanted audio only with two receivers, so we could put one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Honestly, I don't even know what brand or model we have! It was a shower gift, and not the one we registered for.
ETA: We have this, which isn't available anymore. I think it was replaced by this. We haven't had any problems with it.
I have this one from Target and it's suited us just fine:
We have not used it through the night yet as May is still in our room.
Right now we just have the Angelcare movement monitor. It goes under the mattress and an alarm will go off when/if the baby stops breathing. This is only good until they to a certain age though (once they become more mobile, it's pointless since it would be going off once they're off the mat).
We will be getting a video one eventually, I believe H liked the Summer Infant slim monitor the best? I leave the technology stuff up to him, he's way better at understanding what will work best w/ranges, etc.
I think it's this one:
