I was in Ulta today shopping around when I noticed someone trying to stuff a Chi hair straightener and a blowdryer in their huge purse. I was looking around to see if anyone noticed her but someone had already alerted management. Having worked in retail before we always had people shoplifting and coming up with creative ways to sneak stuff out. But it got me to thinking if you would alert managment/security if you noticed someone trying to steal something. It could range from something really small like eyeshadow to something bigger like the blowdryer mentioned above.[Poll]
Re: WWYD?
Likewise. Shoplifters pissed me off so much, especially the ones that used their kids to try and get away with it.
If I have to pay for it, so does everyone else in my book.

Bloggy
I would tell a store employee.
I was at Barnes and Noble once in the children's section and a guy walked up and started looking through all of the drawers and cabinets at the little desk where the computer in that section is. At the time, I thought he was an employee and didn't think too much of it. I realized a few minutes later when I saw him standing by the train table with his daughter that he was actually a customer. I thought about telling someone, but since I didn't see him actually take anything out of the cabinet, I didn't really have anything to "report" him for (except being really weird). If he'd actually taken anything, though, I would definitely have told someone.
I was wondering the same thing.
