  Since no one has responded just thought I'd chime in. I don't live Jacksonville but have 5 friends that do. Two couples and a single one. Oddly enough, they don't know each other.

  Thanks! That's where I was for NYE, and I'm contemplating moving there. I have a lot of friends that live there, too, but wanted to see if any of our Nesties did - but I guess not! Do your friends that live their like Jax?

  My brothers both lived there for a time and left-not that they did not like it per se, I think they just found jobs in other areas.  I don't know about the area personally unfortunately.

  Yes they do! Both of the husbands are from there, met their wives in MD while in college, lived here for a few years and then moved there. The single guy is an old family friend and has been there for a long time now. He loves it. I think jobs aren't the easiest to come by but it's a nice small city. I've really enjoyed it every time I've been and am generally not a huge Florida fan. An added benefit - I know you're a Pats fan but if you decide to become a Jags fan, tickets are super cheap or even free!
