Hey ladies. Sorry I've been kind of MIA for the last couple days. I've had the flu & haven't been doing much of anything but sleeping, throwing up, and watching TV. Sweet life right? Anyway, I could really use your vibes & nice thoughts for my dad. His company filed for bankruptcy a couple weeks ago, but he was told his job was safe. Fast forward to Monday. He's been let go. He says he's not worried, but of course he wouldn't actually tell me, "Sara, this is bad," ya know?
Anyway, he's been smart enough to have had feelers out for a couple months, and he's been being contacted by headhunters for awhile, so I'm sure he'll land on his feet. But I just feel kind of edgy & stressed. He has an interview next week that he's been planning on for awhile, and it's for a job where he'd be making more than he was at his old job. So that would be good. Maybe this is all just a blessing in disguise? Idk. Just anyone who's willing to throw down some prayers/ vibes/ thoughts, I'd really, really appreciate it. Thanks ladies!

I'm sending vibes your way. I'm sure your dad will find something soon, it seems he was smart about the situation.
When my dad was working I used to worry ALL THE FRIKKIN TIME that he was going to get laid off. He was at Pitney Bowes (don't know if u ladies have heard of that company) and they lay off all the time.
Thankfully he was able to retire right before the wedding, and I'm curious to see how long that company lasts for.
